Loved this! Curious if you have any resources or thoughts on billing models/pricing for fractional roles. I’ve been on both sides of this and haven’t seen one model work particularly well (retainer v hourly v deliverables, minimum contract length etc).
Sorry, Melinda, I don't know how I missed this comment. A very late reply, I hope, is still better than none. I find that all of them work for different types of engagements. Retainer makes sense for longer engagements (3-12 months) and fixed fee works best for clearly defined, short-term deliverables. I hope this helps. I rarely do hourly work but I know it works for some.
